First of all, I want to thank you for being my subscriber, and reading my Home Based Business Success Series.
If you’ve been following along this past week, then you know how much I’ve put into sharing this information & education with you.
To me, it’s not just knowledge that’s power – it’s applied knowledge that’s power – so be sure to implement everything you are learning and make the most of what I’ve been teaching you.
I also wanted to make this series feel comfortable for you, and easy to read, and because I care about you & your success, my intention was to make sure that you looked forward to each part in the series.
I look at my business partners like a big family, so I always do my best to take care of everyone the way I take care of my own. I’ll expand more on this in future messages.
Just know that there is both an art & a science to how I do this – reducing tension, and increasing cooperation.
I also wanted this message Series to feel fun, because making money is fun when you do it the way teach.
Because just like you, I can get bored easily so I will always keep it fresh & exciting, not just for myself, but for you too 🙂
And of course, I know you are aren’t highly committed to your success because you have nothing better to do – you are here to make money, knowing that there is truly nothing better than being your own boss, running your own business, and being in total control of your finances, your freedom, and your life.
That being said…
Part 7, is about Overcoming the #1 Objection to make you a TON of sales in your business.
If you are a student of Direct Response Copy Writing, like I am, then you know that the best way to bring a prospect from a state of total apathy (meaning that they know hardly anything about you, or your product or service), to a place of what is called, purchase readiness, is to know more about them, your prospect, than you even know about your product, and then show them how easy it is for them to solve their problems with your product.
You see, there is a conversation taking place inside your prospect’s head , and when you know how to enter into that conversation – as though you were there when it all started in the first place – and your voice doesn’t feel intrusive or invasive – well this is the best way to help people make a buying decision that’s going to solve their problems.
This way, at the point of purchase, there are no objections.
In other words, when the marketing is done right, the selling
part is a piece of cake because very little is actually required.
Another way to explain this, is…
It’s a lot easier to prevent a mess, than clean one up.
So, about overcoming objections…
I’m going to share with you the #1 objection people have when it comes to getting started in a home based business.
It’s the one about money.
They want to, but don’t think they can afford it.
So, how do you overcome that objection to show them that they can afford it, and have them whip out a credit card and buy?
It’s fairly simple.
When a prospect thinks to themselves, and says to you, “I really
want to buy, but I just don’t have the money”, here’s what I say to
“Forget about the money for a second. If you had the money, would
And then, be quiet.
“If you had the money, can you see yourself (owning this product,
using this product, being a part of my team, etc…)?”
And then, be quiet again.
In other words, future pace your prospect by reminding them of the
benefits before they even buy from you, putting them in an ownership
position, to experience how that would feel.
When they say “yes”, (because they always do)…
You say, “Great, so how soon can you come up with the money?
And then, be quiet again.
Because now it’s up to them to tell you when they are going to get
No matter what they say, tomorrow next week, next month, next year, you tell them…
“Sounds great. Let me know when you are ready to change the quality of your life. You can either call me back or go directly to
my website at (your web address)”.
Make sure you have a simple domain for them to type in so that they
can write it down or remember it easily.
The KEY is to get a commitment as to when they are going to come
up with the money, and then end the conversation.
Because the truth is, the right person always comes up with the
money, no matter what they have to do to get it.
They’ve seen the offer, like what they’ve seen, know that they can
benefit tremendously by making a purchase, and joining you and
The monkey is now on their back to keep their commitment, not just to you, but to themselves, and their family…
And if they truly want what they said they wanted at the time when they said it…
To solve their problems, to learn new ways of being, to be more healthy, wealthy, and wise, more effective in building their business,
more effective as a leader, an influence to others, and to just live a
much happier, and more productive life & lifestyle…
They will buy from you when they are truly ready.
Because really, there are 2 reasons that people don’t buy – and it’s
NEVER about the money.
Anyone can come up with the money if they truly wanted it badly
However, if they don’t buy, it’s usually one of these two reasons:
#1 – You are not the Leader they are looking for. (And in Part 6 we covered how to become the Leader, so this should no longer be an issue for you)
#2 – They, your prospect, is just not ready yet. Ready for success that is. And there’s absolutely nothing you can do about it.
As long as you are doing everything you can do to be a Leader for others, it’s now on them, not you.
The bottom line is that you must not be attached to any one lead or prospect.
And this is why you need to have more leads & prospects than time to contact them all (which I will teach you)…
And… you must learn to spend less time, with more people.
That’s a HUGE key to your success.
Because when you are doing everything right, their decision to not get started should never affect your life – but it will effect theirs.
You see, once you make the decision to become successful, nothing, or nobody should ever stop you.
Only YOU can stop yourself.
